I tell you, I am not one to jump on the celebrity turn fashion designer bandwagon. Few have earned my respect in the fashion design world and I try hard to be VERRY critical about these "Designers." Lets face it, they do not stitch a damn thing or even know how to work a sewing machine. However, whatever the story be with Mrs. Beckham, her line is exquisite. Beautiful, well-made, fashion forward clothing. Thank you Victoria for not designing a t-shirt!

Handmade wooden glasses. Leave it to young minds from Portland to come up with such a green sunglass option. I think the shades have tons of personality and reach out to all styles. One-of-a-kind design for under $100 is pretty awesome too.

ART WHINO is am amazing urban art gallery in DC. Always filled with some of the best current & cool artist around. This month Art Whino has taken over an office building that is on its way to being demolished and filled it with 500+ artists from around the world.

Harldly any limitations to what the artists could do with there space. Can i paint on the wall? sure. Can I paint on the carpet? sure. Can I use colors that are not easily covered? why not. Art for Arts sake at its finest! Five floors, each with a certain theme. There was Washington D.C., New York, Cali, World, and then the interactive Lobby floor where artists were painting live.

I had the honor of being one of the featured artists, showing three pieces.

So, it was not to long ago that I was in consignment heaven. I had scored a two-piece Jean Paul Gaultier set for under $30 bucks. Obviously, I assumed that the store had no idea what gem they just let go of for soo much less than it was worth --> BUT I WAS NOT COMPLAINING! Who knew when the next time I would be at a register with enough $$$ to buy Jean Paul Gaultier???!!!

APPARENTLY, sooner than I thought. JPG is the next designer for Target!!
Yes, here I sit typing about JPG. Sandwiching all my thoughts between some of the looks I will soon be able to purchase with a clear conscious. The clothing line will hit target.com first around March 7, 2010. Prices will range from $17.99 - $199.99.

If I could have seen any show, this one would have been the one to choose. Every little detail was exquisite! The theme for the show was "The World Awaits you!" Travel and multiculturalism was emphasized. Models were dressed in bold prints, colors, and beautiful head pieces with binoculars in hand. The makeup was dewey and whimsical. The clothing was bold yet delicate. Ying & Yang balance at its finest.

NO argyle sweater, NO seersucker pants, NO popped Lacoste polo. They are fabulous the more edgy and laid back you style them. I personally like oxfords with rolled jeans and a couple layered sheer tees WITH LOTS OF eclectic bracelets or rings. HAVE FUN WITH IT!!!

You would not come out with a hair care line if you did not know jack squat about hair, would you? I would think not.
Oribe is brand and Man who has worked with hair for decades! He was apart of the movement of SUPERmodels and helped fashion them into the icons they embodied. Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Kate Moss, Heidi Klum.....etc.

He has created a great hair care line. His line is amazing, seriously awesome styling products. You have to try the "Royal Blowout" spray if you blowdry your hair straight. There is also "Creme de style" which works as a hell of a style product. Whether its for a little texture or slicking the hair back, its a hair essential.

you can pick the products up at select salons and boutiques and also Bergdorf Goodman.

He is also very Hott!

A couple years ago I went to an Art Gallery and was completley spooked/fooled by a Mark Jenkins installation. He uses realistic looking mannequins and creates these ridiculous scenarios. I, without a doubt, was not expecting to see this "woman" stand for almost an hour in the same spot & same position. She appeared to be so real. My friends and I (in the picture below) were attempting to see if she was real, she wasnt!

I was at work yesterday and designer Betsey Johnson came up. I love betsey Johnson, I remember picking her for my fashion merchandising project, She is Amazing! I wanted to feature some pics from her house. Really, I loooooVVEee her dining room ( so much i might recreate it for myself ). I just need to find those chairs.....if you find some post them up here and let me know where to get them!

H&M and Jimmy Choo combine forces for the greater cause - Fabulous Design and quality for less. Oh how I love the word LESS when it comes to price. Shoes are going to start at around $60 - $200. which is FAR MORE cheaper than the usual $600+.
No more "CHOO WHO?" for my closet because they will become well acquainted!!

Oh and who can forget about Christian Siriano's FIERCE collection of shoes that Payless will be carrying in the fall. Yes, I did say Payless. Starting from $25-$60 (can we say "one in every color!")
